Treescape

Give the gift that grows!

Are you looking for the perfect gift for a friend, colleague, or loved one? This year you can give the gift that grows! Through Keep North Charleston Beautiful’s (KNCB) Treescape program, you can purchase a 30 gallon tree to be planted in your favorite North Charleston park as a living memorial of a special person or to celebrate special events such as: births, birthdays, graduations, retirements, special achievements, or wedding anniversaries.

There are several benefits to giving a tree through the Treescape program. The first is your gift to the environment. As we all know, trees are nature’s purifiers and we are consistently working to increase the tree canopy in North Charleston. Next, each Treescape recipient will receive a card that will acknowledge your gift. Lastly, each Treescape recipient will be given the opportunity to attend a special event to visit the tree that was planted in their honor. Additionally, each Treescape sponsor will be recognized by KNCB on Facebook and Twitter for their support of the beautification efforts of KNCB.

One of the goals of KNCB is to plant sustainable trees. To help achieve this goal, all tree species and the exact planting locations will be determined by City horticulture staff to ensure the overall health and appearance of the tree. For aesthetic purposes, there will be no permanent signage on or near any of the Treescape trees. There will be a maximum of 100 Treescape trees available for sale during the 2012 calendar year for a donation of $300 for each tree.

Keep North Charleston Beautiful is a [501(c)3] non-profit organization. Your donation is tax-deductible as outlined in section 501(c) of the Internal Revenue Service Code. Thank you for your support in making North Charleston bloom with beauty!
