These offerings include theatre presentations, concerts, workshops & classes, summer camps, exhibitions, artist assistance, and arts education.
There are several opportunities for a business or an individual to support the department’s mission and to assist in the development of the arts in our community. Your contributions can be applied in a number of ways. Examples include:
Providing scholarships for children to attend a class or workshop
Purchase of art supplies and musical instruments for our after school arts enrichment program
Assistance in the presentation of an art exhibition, concert, or theatre performance
Purchase and installation of permanent public art (sculpture)
If you are interested in sponsoring an event, program, or project, please contact the Cultural Arts Department at 843-740-5854 or email@example.com.
North Charleston Arts Fest Sponsorship Opportunities
The North Charleston Arts Fest is an annual, multidiscipline arts and culture event that offers a wide range of free and modestly priced performances, workshops, exhibits, and activities throughout the City of North Charleston. Over 100 national, regional, and local professional performers and groups take part, showcasing their talents in a variety of venues, including libraries, community centers, schools, civic auditoriums, and parks. The family-friendly event attracts more than 30,000 residents and visitors each year. In 2008, the North Charleston Arts Fest was recognized by the Southeast Tourism Society as a Top 20 Event.
Sponsor contributions allow performances and activities to be presented at little or no cost to the public, helping to uphold the festival’s mission of making unique arts experiences accessible to people of all demographics and economic backgrounds. In appreciation of a business’ tax-deductible donation, a variety of benefits are offered, including on-site marketing opportunities; exposure in local and regional print and broadcast media; visibility on the event website, signage, and T-shirts; event tickets; discounts on merchandise and art purchases; and more.
