Entries Sought for 2018 North Charleston Arts Fest Judged Fine Art and Photography Competitions & Exhibitions

3/26/2018: Fine artists and photographers ages 16 and up are invited to enter works into the annual North Charleston Arts Fest Judged Fine Art and Judged Photography Competitions & Exhibitions. Entries for these judged competitions may compete for ribbons and cash prizes and will be on display throughout the festival in Exhibit Hall A at the Charleston Area Convention Center Complex, located at 5001 Coliseum Drive in North Charleston. Complete details and entry instructions for all exhibition opportunities are available for download at NorthCharlestonArtsFest.com/apply. There is no pre-jury process or application to complete.

North Charleston Presents Interactive Children’s Theatre Performance April 12

3/21/2018: The City of North Charleston’s Cultural Arts Department is pleased to offer a highly interactive Children’s Theatre performance at the North Charleston Performing Arts Center from 10:00-11:00am on Thursday, April 12, 2018. Savannah based theatre group The Story Ship will present The Great Pirate Race, a math-based “game show.” The program is best suited for grades pre-K to 6. Tickets are $2 per child with accompanying adults admitted at no charge. Parking is free.

The production is part of the Cultural Arts Department's Dinner Theatre Series.
