The Purchasing Department is responsible for ordering all material, supplies, and services used by the City of North Charleston.
The Purchasing Department oversees all City purchases. When the cost of a purchase is expected to exceed $25,000.00, bid packages are prepared and distributed to all vendors on our vendor list.
The City utilizes Gov Deals, Inc., an online auction service, to auction all excess items including City vehicles, vehicles and personnel property seized through drug enforcement efforts, and excess City property. Current Bids, RFPs & RFQs
The Procurement Department publicly lists all current bids, requests for proposals (RFPs), and requests for qualifications (RFQs). A short form must be completed to view the list.
To recieve notificaiton about business opportunities with the city, the vendor application must be completed.
