The Management Information Systems Department was designed to assist city employees in accomplishing their duties in the most cost efficient manner ultimately saving the citizens of North Charleston unnecessary expenses. The department automates routine job functions and eliminates the storage of redundant information, thereby enabling city employees to better serve the citizens.
The Management Information Systems Department provides employees of the City an invaluable tool of modern technology. Technology not only increases productivity, but it also allows greater access and availability of information yielding better decision making and planning for the future of the City of North Charleston.
