The City of North Charleston Cultural Arts Department offers a Dinner Theatre Series, Children's Theatre Series, and special presentations throughout the year.

The Dinner Theatre Series is held in the elegant setting of the Embassy Ballroom of the Charleston Area Convention Center. Tickets include the dinner, theatre, gratuity, and parking pass. Group discounts are available. Call (843) 745-1087 for ticket information. No credit card capabilities, we can accept cash or checks made payable to City of North Charleston.

The Children's Theatre Series is held at the North Charleston Cultural & Civic Center Auditorium located on the Old Charleston Naval Base, with the exception of one summer performance. Admission is $2.00 per child, all adult chaperones are free. These are open to daycares, home-schoolers, public and private schools, and families looking for a fun outing. Large groups must pre-register. Go to Applications/Registrations to download the appropriate Children's Theatre registration.

2007/08 Dinner Theater Series

Each Dinner Theater is held at the
Charleston Area Performing Arts and Convention Center Ballroom.

Season Tickets:  
Individual:  $110 per person  
Party of 4 or more: $100 per person
   
Regular Tickets:
Individual:  $33 per person
Party of 4 - 7:  $30 per person
Party of 8 or more:  $28 per person
 

  • Tickets include dinner, play, gratuity, and parking pass
  • Cash, check, or money order only.  No refunds.  Checks payable to City of North Charleston.
  • Tickets/parking passes will be mailed to season ticket holders, two weeks prior to the date.
  • Single performance tickets available for sale one month in advance.
  • Menus include house salad, chef’s choice of vegetable, starch item, rolls and butter, dessert, iced tea and coffee service.  For chef’s choice vegetarian alternative--request in advance.
  • Cash Bar will be provided.

  • Cash bar and check-in table open at 6:30p.m. in the Ballroom lobby.
  • Table #s are assigned the night of each play and given to the patrons at the check-in table.
  • Ballroom doors open at 7:00p.m., dinner is served at 7:15p.m., and play begins about 8:00p.m.
