The North Charleston Cultural Arts Department now offers a wide spectrum of one-day workshops, ongoing classes, or sessions consisting of 3-8 weeks; each session is listed under the month they are scheduled to begin. In addition to individual instructors, Cultural Collaboratives between various arts organizations such as the Gibbes School of Art, the Actors' Theatre of South Carolina, the Charleston Ballet Theatre, and others will provide extensions for their programming through use of our facilities. Instructors and courses will be added throughout the year.

The North Charleston Cultural Arts Department is accepting proposals for Visual and Performing Arts Classes.  Classes and Workshops will be held at the North Charleston Cultural and Civic Center Complex (former Charleston Naval Base).  Artists experienced in teaching or artists that excel in their medium are encouraged to submit a proposal.
