Building and Permit Inspections
The Building Department is responsible for the issuing of building permits for residential and commercial new construction and renovations. Located on the 3rd floor of City Hall in the One Stop Shop.
Permits can be issued Monday - Friday between the hours of 8:30 am and 4:30 pm.

Monday - Thursday 3:30 pm - 4:30 pm for next day inspections
Monday- Friday 8:00 am- 9:00 am for same day inspections

All commercial construction plans submitted after July 1, 2013 must meet
the 2012 International Building Codes and all other applicable codes
The 2009 International Energy Code will remain in effect.
