Building and Permit Inspections

Attention:  CITIZENS AND CONTRACTORS

Due to the impending forecast and track of Hurricane MATTHEW, NO PERMITS will be issued or inspections conducted effective October 5 -7 2016

 

The Building Department is responsible for the issuing of building permits for residential and commercial new construction and renovations. Located on the 3rd floor of City Hall in the One Stop Shop.

Permits can be issued Monday - Friday between the hours of 8:30 am and 4:30 pm.

Monday - Thursday 3:30 pm - 4:30 pm for next day inspections
Monday- Friday 8:00 am- 9:00 am for same day inspections
